Faculty Development Program
Amity University Jharkhand organizes Faculty Development Programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of our educators. These FDPs focus on various aspects, including teaching methodologies, curriculum design, research skills, and integration of technology in the classroom. Amity School of Communication (ASCO) recently hosted a 5-day FDP on the topic “Visual Arts in Media Education: Enhancing Film Appreciation and Photography”. Similarly, Amity Institute of English Studies and Research (AIESR) also hosted a 7-Day Online FDP on Memory Studies titled “Retracing Memory: Histories, Cultures and Narratives”.
The first session of Amity School of Communication (ASCO) was addressed by Dr B. P. Sinha, Director, School of Journalism & Mass Communication, Ranchi University who spoke about the nuances of film making. The following session was taken by Mr Manusmit Rana, Owner, Cosmic Studious, Mumbai/ Assistant Director, Jagga Jasoos who discussed film production as a business model.
In the inaugural session of the Amity Institute of English Studies and Research (AIESR), Dr Merin Simi Raj, Associate Professor, IIT Madras, discussed the inter-connection between memory and innovation.
