Amity University Jharkhand celebrates its 77th Independence Day with the slogan Reform, Perform & Transform
Ranchi, 15/08/2023: In keeping with the vision and mission of Amity University Jharkhand’s Honourable Founder-President & Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ) celebrated the 77th Independence Day on 15th August 2023.
Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand expressed his happiness for the celebration of Independence Day at the university’s new campus. On behalf of the Amity University Jharkhand team, he gave a slogan, “We will reform, perform and transform.” This will become the new Mantra of the AUJ family. He congratulated the concerned faculty members of AUJ for successfully filing more than 30 patents, copyrights and designs overshooting the target of filing 15 patents by 15th August 2023. Around 150 research publications and funded research projects worth 64 lakhs approximately have been granted since January 2023.
He emphasized the importance of contributing to the education system of the nation by strengthening the teaching-learning culture and research excellence at Amity University Jharkhand which could only be achieved through individual as well as group effort.
He further sought the blessings of Honourable Founder President Sir, Honourable Chancellor Sir and Respected Sr. Vice President, Mr. U. Ramachandran as well as the good wishes of Mr Gauravh Gupta, Vice-President of Amity Education Group, while sharing the best wishes conveyed by them.
Mr Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand, led all the members of Amity University Jharkhand to pledge for “MERI MAATI, MERA DESH” with an earthen lamp in hand to express their commitment to the best interests of the country.
A celebration day titled “Celebrating India’s Presidency of the G-20 on the occasion of 77th Independence Day 2023” was also collaterally celebrated on the university premises under the mandate of the Institution’s Innovation Council, Amity University Jharkhand.
The program was then followed by patriotic songs, and a vote of thanks by Dr. Shovona Choudhury, Assistant Dean, Student Welfare marked its end.
