 Amity University Jharkhand host Cyber Peace Dialogue in association with CyberPeace and British Deputy High Commission

Centre of Excellence, CyberPeace, Amity University Jharkhand, Ranchi, CyberPeace and British Deputy High Commission have initiated CyberPeace Dialogue to-facilitate high-level dialogue between UK-India cyber experts to strengthen cyber resilience, promote UK-India government-business-academia cooperation and lead to a white paper/report to tackle issues of mutual concerns related to cyber-space and provide tech-based solutions to combat online subversive activities. The event was held on March 11, 2023 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Ranchi with the blessings of Amity University Jharkhand’s Revered Honourable Founder President, Revered President & Chancellor.

The event was graced by dignitaries from Government, Industry, Academia, and Civil Societies. 

The Sr. Vice President of Amity Education group, Mr. U. Ramachandran as well as Mr. Gauravh Gupta, Vice President, Amity Education group conveyed their best wishes on this occasion.

Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand expressed his good wishes to the participants.

The welcome address was given by Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand.

An introduction of CyberPeace Dialogue and CyberPeace Cluster was given by Mr. Vineet Kumar, Founder and Global president, CyberPeace who informed that cyber peace in eastern parts will be a game changer, they discussed about the issues and prevention measures to be taken.

The announcement of the Cybersecurity Cluster (East) in Jharkhand was made on this occasion by British Deputy High Commission.

Peter Cook, Acting British Deputy High Commissioner, East and North-East India said, “Solution for it will be achieved only if everyone including private sectors, academics, and civil society work together.”

Mr. Sanjay Seth, Member of Parliament, Ranchi shared his personal experience about the perception people have about Jharkhand, he concluded his speech with the assurance to work along for the prevention of cyber issues.

The video messages from the, Lt Gen (Dr.) Rajesh Pant (Retd) PVSM, AVSM, VSM, National Cyber Security Coordinator, Government of India and Ms. Rekha Sharma, Chairperson, National Commission for Women SN Pradhan were showcased here.
