Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University Jharkhand organized Open House for Diploma Students at Amity University Jharkhand
On August 1, 2022 Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University Jharkhand organized an Open House for Diploma Students on Monday. The focus of the event was to encourage lateral admission into the second year of the B. Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical & Automation Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering). The highlights of each department, including placements, laboratories, and other items, were presented. After the event, a lab visit to all Engineering departments was also arranged. The target audiences of the same were diploma students of various institutions.
Sr. Director Amity Education Group Dr. Ashok Kumar Shrivastava motivated and guided the students about career counseling session, boosted their confidence and faith by answering students queries. He added about the future scopes and placement of the students.
Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand addressed the gathering and said, “The importance of education in life is immense. It is only education that can take us forward in life, and if correct guidance is available, sky is the limit. Students at Amity University Jharkhand have 47 lakhs package due to the guidance and exposure provided by the faculty members. We strike a balance of quality education along with all the extra co – curricular activities to meet our Founder President Dr. Ashok Kumar Chauhan Sir’s dream to make each student a success story.”
Thereafter, Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand praised the efforts of Amity School of Engineering & Technology and stated, “If students want to get the right direction in life they can benefit by attending the career counseling sessions by the experts at Amity University Jharkhand”.
The other speaker of the event Dr. Pravin Kumar Singh, Program Leader of MAE at AUJ talked about the training and internship opportunities for MAE students at Tata Steel and Tata power, Indian Space Research Organization, NASSCOM and MSME recognized by the Government of India.
Similarly, Dr. Sarita Kumari Program leader of ECE, Dr. Subhadeep Chakraborti Program leader of CE & Mrs. Kanika Thakur Program leader of CSE at AUJ highlighted about the various placement, internship opportunities and qualitative as well as practical aspects available for the students at Amity University Jharkhand .
The event was highly interactive with all the queries being addressed by the experts and it successfully came to an end by concluding remarks and vote of thanks of Mr. Saurabh Sarkar, Assistant Professor Dept. of ECE, Amity School of Engg. & Technology Amity University Jharkhand
