Amity University Jharkhand hosts five-day Online Research Enrichment Program
Ranchi, 25/07/2022: The Research and Development Cell in association with MOE-IIC of Amity University Jharkhand commenced a five-day Online Research Enrichment Program (REP-2022) on Monday.
Keynote speaker of the first day was Prof. (Dr.) Siddhartha Das, Professor, Managing Director – STEP & Incubation & Entrepreneurship- SRIC, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Addressing the participants, he gave a presentation on ‘Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Intellectual Property Rights.’
Speaking on start-ups, he explained the use of idea. The terms ‘technology’, ‘invention’, innovation’, and entrepreneurship were described by him in details. “Entrepreneurship can be quite stressful but starting at university allows a student to gain the necessary life skills and confidence to make it in the real word, by gaining hands-on experience with entrepreneurial tutors and lecturers, and by taking advantage of free resources for university members,” he quoted.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Srivastava, Senior Director, Amity Education Group acknowledged the efforts of the organization committee of the event.
Dr. S. Arvind Pandey, Director, Law, Amity University, Jharkhand said that one should have a wide research aptitude for conducting research.
Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Jharkhand touched few research practices or tips to help individuals who are yet to begin research. “One should start very broad and then dive deep. Secondly, learn how to recognize the quality resorts. Thirdly, research is not manipulation but let it be an open mind with surprises like data and analysis. Lastly, stay organized and visit library,” he said. He also stressed of time management for research.
