Amity University Jharkhand celebrate International Yoga Day
Ranchi, 21/06/2022: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ) organized a Yogasana Competition for its employees in order to mark the International Yoga Day on Tuesday.
Dr. B. Samanta, Assistant Director, ASET-AIIT, AUJ said it is the fifth time we are celebrating Yoga Day. Yoga is an old concept although International Yoga Day isn't. It has different aspect. It helps us make balance between body and mind.
Dr. Arvind Pandey, Director, Amity Law School, AUJ mentioned diversity of Yoga asanas. It makes you qualitatively strong.
Assistant Professor Rikita Swaroop highlighted the three forms of Yoga. As many as 40 employees participated here.
The winners among female employees were Ms. Aditi Sharma, Ms. Bhavna Taneja, Dr. Shweta Sinha while in male employees Mr. Vijay Shekhar, Mr. Pankaj Roy, Mr. Suraj Panigrahi.
