Amity University Jharkhand in collaboration with Nirmala college, Ranchi organized a 7-day interdisciplinary workshop on ‘Research Capacity Building Amongst the Students of Post-Graduation.’ From 5th to 12th May 2022. The principal, Nirmala College Ranchi, Sr. Dr. Jyoti Kispotta and the Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand, Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jha inaugurated the workshop on 5th May 2022 and encouraged them to absorb all knowledge disseminated during the next 7 days.
The workshop was designed keeping in mind the landscape of contemporary research which is characterized by the blurring of disciplinary boundaries faster then ever. The feedback of the participants made it clear that the workshop succeeded in enhancing their interdisciplinary skills.
Eminent speakers from former vice Chancellor of various universities and associate and assistant professors of Ranchi University and Central University Jharkhand enlightened the students during these 7 days.
The workshop came to its conclusion with the organizing secretaries addressing the unanswered questions of the participants. The valedictory Keynote address was presented by the Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand on the ‘Importance of Research in NEP 2020’. A vivid report on the workshop was presented by Dr. Anjana Singh, Principal Investigator UGC-STRIDE (COMPONENT I) and Head Dept. Of History, Nirmala College, Ranchi. The Valedictory address by the Principal, Nirmala College Ranchi Sr. Dr. Jyoti Kispotta encouraged the students to focus on enhancing their research skills. The Vote of Thanks was presented by the Co-investigator, Dr. Shayantani Banerjee, Head Dept. Of English, Amity University Jharkhand.
