The Student Welfare Department along with the Staff Welfare Dept of Amity University organized Pre –eve celebration –“The Day of Belongingness 2022”, to commemorate the birthday of Honorable Chancellor- Dr. Atul Chauhan Sir on 6th May 2022 .Day of Belongingness
The birthday celebration of Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh is also celebrated as ‘Day of Belongingness’, is always marked by fervor and gaiety by all Amitians. It provides a great opportunity to Amitians to rejoice and further strengthen the bond of love and togetherness.
Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha , Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand expressed birthday wishes to honorable Chancellor Sir Dr. Atul Kumar Chauhan. He said, “Try and understand the importance of belongingness day. Anything that we are doing is because of the contributions of our Chancellor Sir , his blessings, and directions .Your share of Belongingness can be increased by following certain things like trust everything that you have, respect from within affection, care, guidance, reverence, glorify, gratitude, love. Let these feelings be illumined on this day and that can be the greatest gift to our Chancellor Sir. Total commitment is all about belongingness.”
Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand said, “With the blessings and guidance of Honorable Chancellor Sir, we are here to dedicate ourselves to belongingness on the helm of life. It is devotion to feel belonging to a family, a relationship or may be a community or society unless we belong to we cannot call ourselves human. By attributes like togetherness, kindness we call ourselves human and let us strengthen this always.”
Mr. Prabhakr Tripathi Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand said, “I feel that belongingness is a vector quantity it has magnitude and it has directions as well, you are expecting same from the university point of view as well, one cannot make a water tight compartment that university or employee should begin. The belongingness should be there in you. You already own this university, so onus and ownership is already there in your heart, so all should work like heart of the department. When all departments have the same philosophy all will feel the same belongingness.”
Mr. Sumit Singh Deputy Director Admissions Amity University Jharkhand also expressed his heartfelt gratitude and birthday wishes to Honorable Chancellor Sir.
The celebration came to an end with an oath that all the members of Amity family will profess, practice and propagate this sense of belongingness always in their life.
