Amity University Jharkhand organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Concept to Implementation of Machine & Deep Learning’
Ranchi, 15/04/2022: Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Amity University, Jharkhand organized a Guest Lecture titled ‘Concept to Implementation of Machine & Deep Learning’ on Friday wherein Mrs. Kusumika Krori Dutta, Assistant Professor, Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore was the guest speaker.
Addressing the audience, the guest speaker gave a presentation on the mentioned topic and explained the difference between machine learning and deep learning.
“Machine learning is a mathematical background and branch of artificial intelligence, concerns, the construction, and study of systems that can learn from data,” she said. It is programming computers to optimize a performance criterion using example data or experience.
Explaining Deep Learning, she stated, “Deep learning is little bit extended version of artificial neural network.”
Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Jharkhand, and Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University, Jharkhand conveyed their blessings on this occasion.
Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University, Jharkhand said, “Industry is going with more and more innovation. That is why all scientific human beings are working in this sector. This is a subcategory of artificial intelligence. More and more industries are making machines in tune with artificial intelligence. There are so many apps for commercial industries. That app gives data on online purchase and preference of consumer.”
Dr. Biswarup Samanta, Additional Director, EAS, Amity University, Jharkhand, said, “This is another opportunity to learn ten best demanding skill sets required in the industry in next 10 to 20 years. Driverless Car is one such example.”
