Amity University Jharkhand Celebrated The Constitution Day
Ranchi 26/11/21 - Amity Law School, Amity University Jharkhand conducted a guest lecture on the eve of the Constitution Day to inculcate, practice, profess and propagate the importance of the Constitution.
Mr. Subhashis Rasik Soren, Advocate, High Court of Jharkhand was The Chief Guest of the event. He said, “The Constitution has given us not only Fundamental Rights but other rights also. We only talk about the rights but duties. We must follow our duties as well.” He gave an insight that anyone can learn from books, but it is always better to look around how the things are going and the laws are being implemented.
Mr. Gauravh Gupta, Vice-President, Amity Education Group said, “Today we are celebrating 72nd year of Constitution Day, and we should feel proud to be the nationals of the world’s second largest Democracy.
Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand stated that earlier there were 375 articles and now we have about 500. As we progress, the laws also change, we are free to change them, we accept the changes because we feel proud of it that we are part of this constitution. He also said that there are many things written in the constitution but by merely writing or saying them, we are not equal but by the feeling and understanding of it. He recalled his school days and felt proud for representing his school for 7 years on Republic Day parade.
Prof. Dr. Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand stated, “No nation can be called a nation until it is sovereign., We adopted our constitution on 26th November 1949. Today, remembering those days of huge contribution and sacrifice made by our leaders, politicians, law gizzard make us feel proud today.”
Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand conveyed his blessings on this occasion. The event ended with the vote of thanks.
