Amity University Jharkhand organized a "Guest Lecture on Video Synopsis "
Amity School of Information and Technology, Amity University Jharkhand organized the "Guest Lecture on Video Synopsis " on October 26th, 2021. The aim of the session is to stimulate the students and help them to widen their horizon of knowledge in the emerging trends of IT.
Dr. Pankaj K. Sa, Assistant Professor, NIT Rourkela was the chief guest. He explained about the video synopsis. The theme of the event was the popularization of smart world and automated or unmanned technologies, and widespread development of surveillance systems, it has become crucial to improve the labour-intensive and time-intensive task of video feed analysis. Video Synopsis is a solution to this problem and one of the research domains in high demand currently. The guest lecture was aimed at extending the knowledge horizon of the students as part of their grooming process for the professional world
Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director and Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand blessed all in the event.
The session helped the students to enhance knowledge into one of the popular research areas in the domain of Computer Science and IT.
