Amity University Jharkhand organized Heartfulness Essay Event
With the theme of kindness for self, others and nature, Amity University Jharkhand conducted a Heartfulness Essay Competition on Wednesday. The objective was to make students understand the real meaning of kindness.
The keynote speaker cum judge of the event was Mr. Bibhudatta Mohanty, Principal, Delhi Public School, Pakur. He praised the participants for their writing skills and emphasized on the importance of participation by saying “Participation is the step towards achieving something. Whoever wins, here, every participant is skilled.” He further shared his experience regarding kindness and said that kindness binds us all.
Further there was an interactive session where different participants shared their experiences with kindness and what compelled them to come up with such an essay. Few participants also took the issue of cruelty with animals and how this attitude should be changed.
Priyadarshini Das from B.A English bagged the first position while Vaishnawi Agrawal from BCA and Rishika Singha from B.A Economics were in the second place. The third position was bagged by Siddarth Agrawal from MBA.
Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand, Prof. Dr. Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand and Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand blessed the team for organising such an event.
The event successfully concluded with vote of thanks by the organisers.
