A two-day International Conference on ‘Recent Advances in Economics, Commerce and Finance’ organized by Amity University Jharkhand in association with Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) concluded at Amity University Jharkhand on Wednesday.
The 2nd day mainly focused on three technical sessions on economic growth, entrepreneurship and rural development. Mr. Harishwar Dayal, Director-in-Chief, Centre for Fiscal Studies, Government of Jharkhand chaired the first technical session while Prof. Dr. Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand, co-chaired. Papers presented in this part were on migrant labour, poverty alleviation, donkey in pastoral community and human development.
Research topics on millennial, cognizance level of individual investors, MSMEs, Health Insurance and Women Entrepreneurship in Jharkhand were presented in the second technical session wherein Prof. Akshay Kadam, Goa Institute of Management and Dr. Shovana Chaudhury, Amity University Jharkhand chaired and co-chaired respectively.
Similarly, four papers were presented in third session under the aegis co-chairmanship of Ranchi University Commerce and Management Professor Dr. Vijay Bahadur Singh and Dr. Prabhat Kumar Tripathi, Asst. Director, Amity University Jharkhand. While seven papers were presented in the last session in the chairmanship and co-chairmanship presence of Azim Premji University Professor Christopher Patrick and Ms. Bhavna Taneja from Amity University Jharkhand respectively.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by UAE based Toss Global Management Director Dr. Sonia Singh, XLRI EDC Founder Chairperson, Prof. Dr. Prabhat Kumar Sen, Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ajit Kr. Pandey, Director and Registrar Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi. Amity University Jharkhand. The conference concluded with the Vote of thanks.
