On the Occasion of National Doctors Day & In the august presence of Prof.(Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor; Prof.(Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director & Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar of Amity University Jharkhand and Dr. Suhash Tetarway, Chief Consultant & Head, Harmu Hospital & Research Centre; the MOU was signed by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor- AUJ and Dr. Suhash Tetarway, CEO & Head- HHRC, on 1st July’ 2021.  To celebrate National Doctors Day, Small Function with Cake Cutting Ceremony were there, and the other dignitaries present from Amity University Jharkhand & Harmu Hospital & Research Centre on the occasion include Dr. Jayeeta Chattopadhyay, Dr. Dhananjay Kumar Pandey, Dr. Amit Kumar Dutta with Dr. A. K. Singh, Dr. Sweta, Dr. Gopa, Dr. Keneeth including Mr. Manitesh, Branch Manager of HDFC Bank, Ashok Nagar- Ranchi Branch. 

 

The main objective of MOU is to impart Academic Research opportunities in the form of collaborative projects or consultancy will be persued and Faculty, Students & Staff members should be treated in case of any medical emergency. It will also provide an opportunity to the students, scholars and faculty members to carry out research and projects to develop several advanced applications. Further, HHRC will provide internship to the students and job opportunities to the students. This will not only be limited to the students of Amity but also to the students with Biotech background. 

 

Considering the COVID Pandemic Situation, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand donated 2000 masks to the Hospital Authorities which will help to the poor patients during this time. Dr. Suhash Tetarway in his address assured that all possible type of medical & research related helps will provide to the Amity University Jharkhand. Prof.(Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey- Director of Amity University Jharkhand extended his all type possible support to Harmu Hospital & Research Centre. Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi- Registrar of Amity University Jharkhand informed that Student can be admitted on priority in case of emergency on the production of valid identity proof of the University after this MOU. Prof.(Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha- Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Amity University added that the MoU will help in the dissemination of technical skills through collaborative activities and set up a working group to conduct training programmes. “This collaboration is a milestone in the educational mission of Amity University Jharkhand to reach the unreachable and fulfil a vision. It provides a framework for mutual cooperation that benefits Biotechnology students
