Amity University Jharkhand organized an online event on Quality control in manufacturing industry and implementation of ISO 9001
The one-day event in the context of 'Quality control in manufacturing industry and implementation of ISO9001' was organized by Amity University of Jharkhand on 23rd of May, 2021. The event was organized to make the students understand the importance of manufacturing and implementation of ISO9001. The entire Amity family joined the event.
The event was graced by the august presence and address of the Chief Guest Mr. Vinay Kumar, Manager of Quality Assurance and Quality Control at Jamna Auto Industries Limited, Jamshedpur. He has completed his M.Tech from BITS Pilani and has vast industrial experience of 22 years. He defined three main dimensions of quality as quality of design, quality of performance and quality of service.
Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor, Amity University of Jharkhand addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of quality checks on manufacturing industry. He further added that the foremost responsibility of an engineer is to ensure the quality so that the best should reach the people.
Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University of Jharkhand and Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University of Jharkhand gave their blessings to the participants and encouraged the team for organizing such a type of event.
Further, the students shared their views and a question answer session was conducted and students were given a chance to clear their doubts. The event successfully ended with a vote of thanks.
