Budding artists of the school brought laurels at the 8 th national level painting competition, named ‘Japan on Canvas’, organised by Experience Japan, a non- government organisation, to mark 70 years of Indo-Japan diplomatic relations. Ronak Varshney (Class VII) and Adeena Malik (Class VII) were the national winners of Category 1 and 2, respectively. In Category 1, Kiara Jain (Class VII), Riddhi Goyal (Class VII), and Kasturi Hembram (Class VIII) received the award for outstanding performance. Aastha Aggarwal (Class VII) and Vincy Bansal (Class VIII) in Category 1 and Aashee Jha (Class X) in Category 2 won the award for extraordinary performance. The paintings of top 32 were put on display at the Japan Foundation from December 15-23, 2022. A total of 1468 students from 62 schools across India participated in the event that was conducted in two categories, and on topics Mount Fuji and Sakura & Japan India Friendship.
