The Department of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Govt. of India organized the Annual India International Science Festival at Kolkata, in which the school participated with 10 projects by 16 students, who were selected on the basis of an online form and project abstract, scrutinized by a team of reputed scientists deputed by the Govt. of India. At the event, Gauri Singh for her project ‘Space Research’ and Sheen Sarup and Ridhi Nair for their project on ‘Health and Yoga’ bagged gold medals, while Khushi Soni and Ridhi Nair for their project on ‘Plastic Mnagement’ along with Krish Bhatnagar and Sarthank Devlal for their project on ‘Clean Energy’ bagged bronze medals for the school. All the awardees received a Certificate of Merit and a trophy. The Gold awardees also received 30,000 INR each and the Bronze awardees received 10,000 INR. A special trophy was also given to them by the Govt. of West Bengal in honour of Dr. CV Raman.
