Another flagbearer of the Amity Education Group, Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ), carries on the longstanding practice of disseminating education throughout India.

Amity University, Jharkhand (AUJ) was founded by the State Legislature vide Act No. 13 of 2016, and its notification no. L.G.-10/2016-90/Legi.-Jharkhand Assembly, and further notified by Jharkhand Gazette No. 314, on 16 May 2016 bringing it under the definition and recognition vide under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University, as enlisted and recognized by the UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, is competent to award the as specified by UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act with the approval of the statutory councils, wherever required through their main campus.
