8:30 AM – 10:15 AM.	Reception & Registration, Wearing of Gowns, Issuance of ID Badges & Instruction Sheets & serving of Refreshments (Tea)
10:00 AM –10:30 A.M.	All recipients and their Guest to be seated in the Convocation Hall in the allotted areas.
10:30 AM – 10:45 A.M.	Briefing to the Graduands Rehearsal
10:45 AM – 11:00 A.M.	Arrival of Guests, Trustees, Chancellor, Addl. President, Arrival of Recipients of Honorary Doctorate Degrees, Founder President & Chairperson
10:45 AM – 11:00 A.M.	Robing of Academic Procession members.
11:00 A.M.	All Heads of Institutions, Departments, Centres, Faculty, Guests to be seated as per the seating plan in the main Convocation Hall.
11:00 A.M. – 11:15 AM	Start of the Academic Procession and Members of Academic Procession to get seated. Audience takes their seats.
11:15 AM – 11: 19 AM	Lighting of the Lamp with Chanting of Gayatri Mantra
11:19 AM – 11: 21 AM	The Chancellor AUUP Declares the Convocation – 2023 OPEN
11:21 AM – 11:33 AM	Welcome Address & Report by the Vice Chancellor AUUP
11:33 AM- 11:48 AM	Blessings by Hon’ble Founder President Sir
11:48 AM – 12:18 PM	Conferring of Honorary Doctorate / Professorships
12:18 PM – 12:33 PM	Presentation of the Doctoral Degree Recipients
12:33 PM – 12:38 PM	Presentation of the Shri Baljit Shastri Ji Awards & Best All Round Trophies
12:38 PM – 12:42 PM	Presentation of Amity Alumni Flag
12:42 PM – 12:44 PM	The Chancellor AUUP Declares the Convocation – 2023 CLOSED
12:44 PM – 12:47 PM	National Anthem
12:47 PM – 12:52 PM	Procession Leaves the Convocation Venue All recipients & their guests will leave the Hall from exit gates
1:00 PM	Group Photographs with Award Winners and PhD Scholars– F-2 Block Entrance
1:00 – 1:10 PM	Lunch at Designated Venues

Program Schedule For Degree Distribution Ceremony

Date: Friday, 8th December 2023 – Afternoon Shift

02:15 PM – 02:20 PM	All recipients to be seated in the venue of Degree Distribution
02:20 PM – 02:25 PM	Briefing of the Graduands
02:30 PM – 02:40 PM	Entering of institutional Academic Procession (Chief Guest, HoI, Faculty Members, and external members of BoS, AAB, IQAC, DRC and Alumni)
02:40 PM – 02:50 PM	Welcome Address by Dean / Sr. HoI / HoI
02:50 PM – 05:20 PM	1. Presentation of Corporate Awards 2. Presentation of Medals: i. Bronze ii. Silver iii. Gold 3. Presentation of Degrees / Diplomas / Value Added Certificates
05:20 PM – 05:30 PM	Experience sharing by 3-4 graduands and awardees
05:30 PM - 06:30 PM	Returns of Convocation Gowns and Caps High Tea

9:30 AM – 9:40 AM	Briefing of the Graduands
9:40 AM	Entering of institutional Academic Procession
9:45 AM – 11:55 AM	Degree Distribution Ceremony
11:55 AM -1:00 PM	Return of Gown followed by Lunch
1:00 PM	Departure from campus

Refreshment will be served after the Degree Distribution Ceremony.
All Graduands are requested to reach the Convocation Venue in time. However, recipients who have registered but reported late after closing of registration, should report to the Late Comers Venue for issue of gowns.
