Mr. Yogesh Bhardwaj & Mr. Gaurav Rai alumni, students of B.Tech (E&T) Batch 2008-12 have started BLUDO in the year 2013. Awarded for excellence in the Innovation Pavilion exhibitors at the 33rd International Trade Fair 2013 by the Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police, Mr. MK Meena.

Best paper award, published in International Journal of Academic Science

Ms. Simran Kaur, Mr. Ayush kapoor and Mr. Abubaker Maraicar , got their paper ‘Automation of Lock Systems in Homes Using Internet’ published in International Journal of Academic Science. They Won the best paper award for presenting the paper in the international conference organized by Academic Science , Won cash price also.

Electronics & Telecommunication, 2009-13 batch in The Startup Expo-Runway to Success.

Mr. Nishant Radia , Co Founder Vidooly,also our alumni of B.Tech – Electronics & Telecommunication, 2009-13 batch was one of the speakers in The Startup Expo-Runway to Success , organized at Gurgaon on 23 April 2016.The event was the largest ever initiative in India to bring together an ecosystem for startup success. Co-created by Lufthansa and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), the unique one-day event was an unprecedented platform for startups to showcase their business, explore partnership opportunities, as well as interact with investors, venture capitalists, business experts, mentors, corporates, support agencies, industry associations, government organizations and more!

"Hindustan Times NEXT BIG THING".

Ms Sukriti Chaturvedi, student of B. Tech – Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, represented North Zone in Channel V Nokia India Fest held at Goa and won 1st prize with the title of "Hindustan Times NEXT BIG THING". She was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 20000/- and a Laptop. The event was judged by Mr. Bejoy Nambiar noted film director of blockbusters 'Shaitan' and 'David.' In the fest, she also won the 3rd prize in Star CJ VJ hunt and was the top six finalists in Red FM RJ Hunt. Currently Ms. Sukriti is Radio Jockey in Radio Mirchi- Bajate Raho!!!!!

A specialized Telecom Skill Laboratory

A specialized Telecom Skill Laboratory which has come up with the equipments presented by key players in Telecom industry including Bharti Airtel, Delta Power Solutions Ltd, Radius Synergy International, Ericsson India, Nokia Neetworks, Bharti Infratel and Indus Towers Limited was inaugurated by Mr. Akhil Gupta Vice Chairman, Bharti Enterprises & Executive Chairman, Bharti Infratel Ltd in the presence of Dr. Ashok K Chauhan- Founder President, Amity Group and other Industry Leaders. The Laboratory aims to enhance the learning experience of the students and provide them hands on practice, thereby making them job ready even before they graduate.

Mr. VIshaal Raathi, Student of B. Tech – Electronics & Telecommunication ,2013-17 batch ,won the title of Mr. teen India 2014

The finale was held at Talkatora Stadium on 14 August 2014.He also got the Subtitle of Mr. Style icon. The media partners were Zee News. The organisers are also Limca Book of National Record Holder.He was a model at Jaipur Fashion Week, He has done editorial shoots , was a model for Dipankar Kashyap at his calendar launch. For Sara Agency he has done a fashion show at Hauz khaas, and was the cover page model for a fashion show in Himachal Pradesh.

Ms Jyotsana Shukla ,Alumni B.Tech (2008-12)

Awarded two international business awards at the Stieve Awards for women in Business held at New York in Nov 2016 in following categories:

• Innovator of the year.
• Female Executive of the year in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The alumni started her business with her class-mate and alumni Mr Prakhar Rawat while pursuing studies in Amity. Her company is named “WebZap”. She has been awarded PwC Dazzling Debut Award for Her outstanding performance displayed within six months of her joining. She was chosen for this award amongst joinee from IIT and those having experience for having worked with prestigious companies.

Ms. Bidisha Pandey an alumni , student of B.Tech (E&T) Batch 2007-11

Ms. Bidisha Pandey an alumni , student of B.Tech (E&T) Batch 2007-11 was Commissioned as an officer in Indian Navy. Performed flag hoisting and carrying ceremony on 29th January 2013 as part of Beating the Retreat Function at Vijay Chowk in the presence of the President. Her photograph has been used as the cover page of a National Magazine-Governance.

Mr. Arpan Ghosh student of B.Tech (E&T) Batch 2014-18 performed at National Level CBSE Science Exhibition held at Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, New Delhi and has received a letter of appreciation from Prime minister Mr Narendra Modi.

Ms Tarika Banerjee, Student of 2012-16 batch won the first prize in Slogan Writing Competition by Gandhi Peace Center Australia. And also got certificate of merit in All India Essay Writing Competition.

Ms. Shradha Sanal, Alumni B. Tech (2009-13 )

Shradha Sanal a student of B.Tech (E & T) Batch 2009-13 went ahead and barged into a passionate journey of organizing events and interacting with the who's who of the industry. Ever since her tenure at B. Tech – (Electronics & Telecommunication), she has been keen on organising conferences and meeting the industry leader. This helped her shape her career and take a leap into the industry where at the moment she working with TiE Delhi-NCR an organisation which fosters entrepreneurship globally. Leading the operations of the organisation, she has been a key driver of many large scale events, of which the most well attended and well reconginsed is the Start-up Expo 2016 with a footfall of over 10K people. She has received opportunity to work with Industry leaders, senior entrepreneurs, investors & Government officials.

Capt Kunal S Nair student of B.Tech (E&T) Batch 2018-12

Capt Kunal S Nair, joined Amity University B.Tech (E & T) from 2008-12 and completed his Bachelors in Technology (Electronics and Telecommunications) in the year 2012. He was placed in Wipro Technologies at Hyderabad and started working immediately after the competition of his course in Amity. During the same period he appeared for SSB for selection in the Indian Army and got selected in April 2013. After working for a period of one year in Wipro, he quit his job and joined the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun in July 2013. He was commissioned into an Infantry Battalion of the Indian Army as a Lieutenant on 13th December 2014 and got posted to an area in Jammu and Kashmir on the Northern Part of Line of Control, where he has been serving till now. He was promoted to the rank of a Captain on 01st July 2016 for serving in a High Altitude, Counter Insurgency/Terrorism and an Operational Area. He was also awarded with High Altitude Medal, Operation Suraksha (J&K) and the Special Service Medal whilst his tenure in Jammu and Kashmir.

Ms. Vertika (Srivastava) Misra an alumni of MBA- Telecom 2003-05

Ms. Vertika (Srivastava) Misra an alumni of MBA- Telecom 2003-05 batch is deputy director at Cellular Operator Association of India (COAI) a non-governmental society. COAI has emerged as the official voice for the Indian telecom industry and interacts directly with Ministries, Policy Makers, Regulators, Financial Institutions and Technical Bodies She considers even after graduating more than a decade ago, not a day goes by without feeling a sense of pride for my alma mater, a deep sense of gratitude for the knowledge and confidence the institution imparted, and the friendships formed there. My alma mater cares about its students and empowers them to ignite their passion and help them achieve their dreams. My department's inculcation of discipline and the culture of value based education proved to be the keys that opened up career for her. It has provided opportunities for balanced learning, through classroom inputs as well as creating an atmosphere that helps students to develop capabilities to implement those theoretical inputs in real life conditions. Even today when I look back ,I find my alma mater has a special place where it made so many positive and impactful changes in her personal as well as professional behaviour, which gave me the confidence to make a mark in the corporate world.

Shivam Ahuja is an enabler and community builder. He is founder and director of following companies:

• Delhi Startups –is one of the active startup community of India with 25000+ members.
• Delhi Angles –an investment company for early stage venture with 50+angle investor
• Skill Circle – a skill building and training company for new age digital career opportunities
• Big Shift- is a communication and digital PR agency for new business and start ups.

In 2014 he started Delhi startup.org community along with his friend Shaurya, director marketing EDC from IIT Delhi and from two members grew to 2500+ members. They invite only startup entrepreneurs. They have helped 15+ startups to raise a seed fund of approx. $4 million. They launched Delhi Angels and invested $100,000 in one of the Tech startup through their group investor. They have a vision to build most active and impactful community of budding startups and entrepreneurs.
