Wharton Investment Competition

The Knowledge@Wharton High School (KWHS) Investment Competition is a free, global, online investment simulation for students, age 14-18, and teachers. The opportunity extended by Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools & RBEF and organised under the aegis of Amity Educational Resource Centre, was aimed at providing the students a platform to learn and engage in portfolio management, company and industry analysis, risk taking and investment with a global perspective


Under this programme, team AIS PV called ‘The Erudite Wits’ was responsible for managing a portfolio of $100,000 in virtual, cash using the OTIS online trading system. Winners were selected on the basis of their strength and strategy submitted in documents and a presentation detailing their recommended investment strategies. The school team won an ‘Honourable Mention’ at the Global Finale at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
