The 13thAIMUN held on the virtual platform Zoom for the first time, saw 300participants across 5 countries engage in six exciting committees. The conference with the motto ‘Be your own light’ was organised under the aegis of Amity Educational Resource Centre (AERC) together with Amity Group of Schools, under the visionary leadership of Dr (Mrs)Amita Chauhan Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools & RBEF. Dhruv Banerjee (XI) won the high commendation award, Angad Singh Ahuja (XI) bagged the special mention award and Garima Prasad (X) got the best debutant award in UNESCO, UNEP and NSC committees respectively. Khushi Girdhar (XI) assistant vice-chairperson UNEP, Tanya Kaur Talwar (XII) lobby director UNESCO, Tanmay Mohan Awasthi(XII) moderatorAIPPM and Noor Chawla(XI) scribe AIPPM represented school in the Executive Board. The three-day event graced by eminent dignitaries from UN and WWF, etc., also included anInternational Cultural Festival 2020, which was organised by the school and an alumnus meet. Three alumni of school namely Akshat Mohan Awasthy (batch 2015), Kabir Arora and Karan Pawani (batch 2018) shared their experiences and golden memories with Chairperson at the alumni meet.
