Two teams comprising four students of Class XI of the school participated in the 8th Edition of International Environment and Sustainability Project Olympiad (INESPO) in Netherlands from May 29 to June 3, 2016. The team comprising Kavya Aggarwal and Sarthak Sharma presented their project on ‘Novel and Cost Effective Method to Treat Waste Water of Textile Industries’ (Magnetic Nanocomposite in Action to Remove Dyes) and won a Gold medal, while a team comprising Vasavi Sridhar and Aakriti Dhasmana won a Bronze medal for their project ‘Storable Fuel from Agricultural Waste & Fuel Maker for Rural India’. This prestigious International honour at INESPO also made them win the Global Science Award competing with 150 Best Projects from 49 countries around the world.
