The school celebrated its annual day titled ‘Anugoonj -Echoes from the past’ wherein, around 1200 students from Class V-XI showcased glimpses of Indian heritage and legacy to celebrate India’s entrance into its most epoch phase, the Amrit Kaal. The glittering event was graced by Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools and RBEF, along with the chief guest Lt. Gen. Vinod G Khandare, Principal Advisor to Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. Principal Sunila Athley shared the vision of Amity with the dignitaries and 2000 parents present on the occasion and warmly welcomed them to the Amity campus after a hiatus of four years. The prefect council read out the school report and the evening progressed with the tunes of the school orchestra. The highlight of the evening was a colourful rendition of Ramayana set in the Cambodian style. It was deeply appreciated by all and the students were also invited to perform it at the ongoing Bharat Parv in Delhi. Chairperson in her address, urged the students to adopt the mantra of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam and strive to build a peaceful society.
