Message from the Chancellor, AUJ

We are creating centres of thought leadership across the world, where faculty, scientists and brilliant students can explore and expand the frontiers of knowledge.

Born and brought up in Germany, Dr. Chauhan had his higher education in the field of engineering and finance from University College London and London School of Economics, after which he took on the responsibility of heading the London Office.

Dr. Atul Chauhan is the President of the not-for-profit Ritnand Balved Education Foundation and the Chancellor of Amity University. Dr. Chauhan is also the CEO of the AKC Group of Companies.

Dr. Chauhan is Member of many Government and Statutory Bodies including being a distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a member of the Expert Committee of University Grants Commission (UGC), a Statutory Body of Government of India. Dr. Chauhan sits on many Boards including Assocham Europe, Netherlands-India Financial Corridor and Malaysia-India Committee on Education.

Dr. Chauhan has received several awards from esteemed organisations like the Economic Times and News 24.

Message: Keeping with the demands of today’s day and age, Amity University Jharkhand focusses on outcome-based learning, thereby developing a pedagogic culture aiming at enabling the students to realize their fullest potential and get future in their area of interest. The purpose of the University is to serve as a gardener, catering to the individual needs of every student to help them blossom in all their beauty.

About the Vice Chancellor

Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, is a visionary academic leader with a distinguished career across academia and industry. He has held pivotal positions, including Director of OP Jindal University. An alumnus of premier institutions, Dr. Srivastava holds a Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, M.Tech. from BIT Mesra, M.Phil. from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, and M.Sc. from NIT Jamshedpur. His global exposure spans research experiences at Shinshu University, Japan; the National University of Singapore; Anhui University, China; and the Colorado School of Mines, USA.

With over two decades in teaching, research, and administration, Dr. Srivastava has authored 75+ technical papers and delivered 50+ keynote lectures worldwide. Renowned for his expertise in higher education quality, leadership strategy, accreditation, international rankings, and project management, he also serves as Chairman of the Eastern Region of India for ASM International USA and Expert Panelist at Infollion, USA. His commitment to academic excellence and innovation continues to inspire Amity University Jharkhand in its mission to shape future-ready leaders.
