Amity University, Jharkhand organised a One-Day Workshop On “Intellectual Property Right”

Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Ranchi along with the initiatives of Institutional Innovation Cell (IIC) AUJ in collaboration with Intellectual Property Office- New Delhi, Ministry of Commerce & Industry (GOI) organized a one day Workshop on “Intellectual Property Right” on Tuesday, February 08, 2022. The motive of the event was to help students, staff, and faculty members to understand different aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and how to protect them.
Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University, Jharkhand conveyed their blessings on this occasion.
The keynote speaker of the event was Mr. Ashish Prabhat, Examiner of Patents and Designs (Group A Gazetted) Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, New Delhi. He explained different Intellectual Properties of Patent and their pros and cons, facts, types of application, structure of specification, timelines, fee structure, expedite examination, life cycle of an application. He also elucidated about the anti-diabetic compositions and methods, Section 3 & 4 of Indian Patent Act, commercialization and technology, National Research Development Corporation, Agrinnovate India.
The event ended at a successful note with the vote of thanks.
