 Amity University Jharkhand Organized  Health Awareness Programme: “Save Health: Engage in Healthy Behaviour & Hygiene”

On September 6th, 2021 Amity University Jharkhand organised a seminar on “Save Health: Engage in Healthy Behaviour and Hygiene. The aim of the event was to make aware the employees about the importance of Good health after COVID.  

The event BEGAN with the welcoming of the dignitaries. Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ajit kumar Pandey, Director, and Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand blessed and praised the team for organising such an event.

Various Health experts shared their experience regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and how the hospitals dealt with the situation. One of the experts, Dr. Suhash Tetarway, Chief Consultant, Harmu Hospital & Research Centre, Ranchi, talked about positive health and fit body. According to him, “Describing a disease is easy but describing health is difficult. We all need to understand and accept it.”

The Guest  Dr. K. S. Quadri, Sr. Dentists & Head, White Cross Dental Clinic, Ranchi, said, “In this COVID scenario, sterilization is very important. We have all facilities and equipment to serve you. We need to be careful and protected all the time”.

Prof. Dr. Raman Kumar Jha, emphasized, “We have signed MoU with Harmu Hospital Ranchi. The facilities of the hospital are available to all Amity members. Even we can plan knowledge and research sharing.”

 There was an interactive session between the guest speakers and the participants. The event was successfully closed by concluding remarks by the Co- convenor of the event and vote of thanks
