Amity University Jharkhand hosts Webinar on Utterance of Notions
A webinar titled ‘Utterance of Notions’ was organized by Amity Institute of English Studies & Research of Amity University, Jharkhand on Tuesday with the aim of spreading awareness on those societal issues which are mostly overlooked by people.
The beginning of the event was marked by the welcome address of Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand followed by Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity University Jharkhand and Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar, Amity University Jharkhand.
Several students from different departments of Amity University Jharkhand participated and presented their notions in within four minutes which highlighted social issues like human trafficking, rape, organic fertilizer, animal care and Clean India campaign. Participants shared their concerns and ideas in a creative manner.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Raman Kumar Jha was delighted with the presentations and remarked, “The theme not only expressed the power of observation and analysis of the students but also showcased their level of creativity. “
The Director, Prof. (Dr.) Ajit Kumar Pandey quoted the performance of students as “Surprising if not mesmerizing” He appreciated their ability to think like adults and execute it in ther performances.
Registrar Mr Prabhakar Tripathi said that “Notion sets our motion”.
The keynote speaker and judge of the event was Dr. Vinay Bharat, Head, Department of English, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji University. He shared his experience regarding social issues while he was associated with research work and shared his views on how efforts by individuals and organizations are making a difference.
He also stated that every one is unique, and competitions are a way to bring them onboard and the sole thing that matters is participating.
The event successfully ended with good remarks and a vote of thanks.
