Amity University Punjab Hosts Insightful Session on Union Budget 2025: A Roadmap for India’s Growth
To deepen students’ understanding of the Union Budget 2025, Amity University Punjab organized a special academic event titled “Union Budget 2025: A Roadmap for India’s Growth” on 7 February 2025. The event was curated by the Amity School of Business Administration and catered to students from MBA, BBA, B.Com, BA (Economics), and MA (Economics) programs.
The objective was to enhance students' grasp of key components of the Union Budget, including fiscal policies, government expenditure, taxation frameworks, and sectoral allocations. Through independent research, critical analysis, and structured group presentations, students evaluated the potential impact of the budget on various industries, national economic growth, and the evolving business landscape.
The event encouraged essential skills such as analytical thinking, public speaking, teamwork, and economic policy interpretation. It also served as a practical platform for bridging classroom theory with real-world economic scenarios, equipping students to better understand the implications of fiscal decisions at the national level.
The initiative was thoughtfully scheduled to ensure smooth participation from 2nd and 3rd-year students without disrupting their regular academic activities, thereby providing a holistic learning experience.
