Amity University Punjab welcomed the vibrant festival of Lohri 2025 with boundless enthusiasm, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a heartwarming celebration of Punjab’s rich cultural heritage.
The festivities began with a burst of colors as attendees donned traditional Punjabi attire, embodying the vibrant essence of Lohri. The event officially commenced with the lighting of the sacred bonfire, a symbol of warmth, prosperity, and new beginnings. The puja ceremony was graced by the presence of our Vice Chancellor, Prof. R.K. Kohli, Registrar, Dr. Dalip Kumar, and other esteemed deans, who joined hands to celebrate the spirit of unity and tradition.
The joyful beats of DJ music filled the air, as students and staff danced around the bonfire, immersing themselves in the festive cheer. The evening was made sweeter with traditional treats like popcorn, rewari, and groundnuts, reminding everyone of the joy that comes from togetherness and celebration.
