Central Library and IQAC of Amity University Punjab jointly organized an online awareness program on ORCID and Vidwan/IRINS services of Information and Library Network Centre, INFLIBNET, Gandhinagar for faculty and research scholars. The primary objective of this workshop was to equip participants with essential knowledge regarding these services. The programme started with the welcome note by Prof. Anil Kumar Sharma, Head of School, Amity School of Biological Sciences, and Director IQAC, Amity University Punjab. He formally welcomed and introduced the resource person, Dr. Kannan P., Scientist E, INFLIBNET Centre to the audience. The talk by Dr Kannan was very insightful, embedded with illustrations and examples. He touched upon every single aspect pertaining to ORCID, one of the persistent Identifiers and Vidwan/IRINS services. The talk was delivered in a very lucid manner. More than 100 faculty and research scholars joined the session. The session was highly beneficial for the participants. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Atasi Sinhababu, Assistant Librarian and in charge of Central Library and University Nodal Officer for Vidwan and IRINS services of INFLIBNET Centre.
