The festival, known for its association with popcorn, revari, boliyan, geisha, happiness, and joy, commenced with the lighting of a sacred bonfire. The ceremony was led by the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. R.K. Kohli, the Registrar, Dr. Dalip Kumar, and all the esteemed deans, who conducted a puja around the radiant bonfire.
