Amitasha celebrates various events and festivals like Republic Day, Earth Day, Independence Day, Founders’s Day, Diwali, on an annual basis. The celebration of these special days apprises the students on the significance of various days. In addition, these celebrations also aid in personality development as students participate in a slew of competitions and activities as debate, poem writing, poster making etc, organised on these special occasions.
Amitasha Foundation for Upliftment of Underprivileged Children celebrated its Annual Day Event, "Sapno ki Udaan," on 3rd May 2024. This milestone event, held under the guidance of our Honorable Chairperson Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan . The event featured the presence and support of our Chief Guest, Special Guests, eminent personalities, and sponsors.
The event was graced by our Esteemed Founder President, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, who shared, "Amity, driven by a deep passion for philanthropy and corporate social responsibility, aims to empower the girl child and nurture them as torchbearers of the country. These empowered girls will make India a superpower." The presence and blessings of esteemed Founder Sir, respected Vice President Ms Sapna Chauhan, and other family members from Amity further supported the Amitasha girls.
The event highlighted Amitasha's commitment to empowering underprivileged girls through education and holistic development. Over 600 talented students performed in a captivating dance-drama, depicting the lives of impactful women like Savitribai Phule, Archana Devi, Baby Haldharani, Geeta-Babita Phogat, Surekha Yadavji, Anandi Gopal, and Avni Chaturvedi. The evening featured 300 girls in Nitya Natika and 125 students delivering shlokas and prayer songs, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees.
