We Support the girl child by raising funds through charity events
Organised annually by Amity Riding and Polo Academy, the Amity Polo Cup is a noble way to create awareness and raise funds for Amitasha. The match held at Jaipur Polo Ground is attended by connoisseurs of the game.
Amity schools organise a winter carnival every year. The carnival sees Amitasha students put up their own stall, where art and craft items created by them are put up for sale. The proceeds from the same as well as the proceeds of the stalls put up by students of Amity International School go to Amitasha for the welfare of the girl child.
Amitasha, in association with India Today Group, organised two special charity shows. The show included screening of James Bond movie ‘Die Another Day’. The event was aimed at creating awareness about Amitasha’s efforts for the less privileged girl child. People from various corporate houses and media attended the event. Special charity events are organised from time to time like screening of films, presenting popular plays as George's ‘Marvellous Medicine’ (an English comedy play presented by The Birmingham Stage Company). People from various corporate and media houses attend the event and contribute for the cause.
