Interaction with Ms Joana Perrone
On August 6, 2024, Ms. Joana Perrone, Managing Director (Oxford Global Model United Nations), and also a renowned writer, poet, and researcher, visited Amitasha, Noida. Our Honorable Chairperson Mrs. Amita Chauhan graciously facilitated this enriching opportunity for Amitasha students. Ms. Perrone, who is currently pursuing a DPhil in Area Studies (Latin America) at the University of Oxford, was warmly received with a traditional tilak ceremony and a beautiful rendition of the song "Man ki Veena," performed by talented students. During her visit, Amitasha team guided Ms. Perrone through various classes, showcasing the diverse activities and projects undertaken by the students. She was then led to the multipurpose hall, where an exhibition of handcrafted items, including greeting cards, clay pots, and handmade paper bags created by the students, was displayed. Additionally, a video about Amitasha was presented. The visit concluded with an interactive session between Ms. Perrone and the students. The students interacted enthusiastically and asked numerous questions, to which Ms. Perrone replied beautifully, sharing her insights and experiences. We extend heartfelt thanks to Honorable Chairperson ma'am Dr. Mrs. Amita Chauhan for providing such valuable opportunities.
Career in Armed Forces: A Motivational Talk for Amitasha Girls
On 12th July 2024, under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, a motivational session on careers in the Armed Forces was held for Amitasha girls at Amity International School, Noida. Lt. Gen. S. K. Gadeock, Director General of AIDSS, inspired the students with his insights on education, leadership, and opportunities in the armed forces. The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session. This impactful session was organized by Amity Career Counselling & Guidance Cell and AIDSS.
