Music and Dance are an integral part of the development process of every human being. It not only enriches life but also stirs the soul and disciplines both mind and body.
The Music and Dance Department at AIS-46 conducts the following activities on a regular basis as a part of the curriculum:
- Indian Vocal music For classes KG to V
- Western Vocal music For classes KG , I and II
- Instrumental music for classes I to XII
- Dance for classes KG to VIII
The following dance forms are also taught to our young aspirants:
- Kathak
- Bharatnatyam
- Contemporary
- Folk
Regular lessons are given to classes KG to VIII , on the above forms. We also have Dance as an option in work-ex for classes IV and V.
We have been preparing Students for various program ( like citation, prize distribution etc.) both in Music and Dance. They are sent for different competitions in Music and Dance in Delhi and Gurgaon. They have won various prizes in these competitions in all these years.
