Every year GTSE is organized under the aegis of Amity Institute for Competitive Examinations. The examination was conceptualized to kindle scientific temperament in students who shall represent the country eventually.

GTSE was held for the first time on November 23rd, 2006 in which more than 5000 students participated from classes V-XII. Many reputed schools like AIS, DPS, Bal Bharti School, Army Public School, and Cambridge School etc participated in GTSE making it a landmark event.

Since then the journey of GTSE has successfully moved ahead to become a platform for student of classes I-XII with over 20,000 participants. Annually GTSE is held on the 23rd of November.
