Claymodelling and Ceramics

Clay is an innovative art material used to create pottery and ceramics, hand moulded, or hand worked into the desired shapes. This Kids Art Unit introduces students to the three different ways to make a sculpture which includes carving, modeling, construction and Rolling . The students create wonders with clay by thumping, smashing and squishing it. They portray their creativity by making different structures and unleashing the raw talent that is inherent in them.
