Amity School of Distance Learning (ASoDL) stands for high quality cost-efficient management learning. It has been catering to the educational needs of thousands of students and working professionals. Continuing with this endeavour, Amity School of Distance learning (ASODL) organized its 15th bi-annual meet to start their new session and familiarize the new batch with the working of the institute. The ceremony started with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana.

Maj. Gen. (Dr.) Surendar Kumar, Chairman (ASODL), while delivering the key address asserted the importance of distance learning in today’s fast paced world. He said, “Distance Education is a fast developing concept. With this the less successful ones would become more successful and the successful ones could reach the zenith. Hidden potentials, dormant talents, aptitude, interests, and aspiration can be developed to the fullest through distance learning. Continuous learning and updating knowledge has now become essential more than ever before. It is a must to keep pace with the dynamic demands of all professions.” He congratulated all the students who have made a discreet choice of joining distance learning education.

Extending a warm welcome, Mr. Atul Chauhan - President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) said that life is very busy and one needs to grow fast. In today’s world experience and qualification both run in tandem. You cannot do without either so distance learning is the need of the hour. It provides you with an opportunity to enhance your qualification without snapping your ties with corporate world. He suggested the students to aim higher in life and to prepare a roadmap to reach the pinnacle of success.

A brief outline about the programmes under Distance learning was provided by the officials of ASODL. During the occasion, study material was distributed amongst the students. New students were familiarized with teaching methodology, course curriculum and projects to be undertaken during the course. They were introduced to the culture and traditions at Amity.
