Ghazal Maestro Ghulam Ali mesmerized thousands of his fans during the International Business Summit “INBUSH” at Amity
Ghulam Ali, the Ghazal Maestro, evinced his magic in the soul stirring evening “Sham - e – Ghazal at the grounds of Amity Campus, Sector-44, Noida during Ninth Annual Business Summit “INBUSH” organized by Amity International Business School.
The legendary singer crooned several of his timeless and beautiful ghazals including “Chupke Chupke raat din----”, “Ye Dil ye Paagal----”, “Hungama He kyo Barpa---”, “Dil me ik Leher si uthi”,“Thodi si jo pi li hain, chori to nahi ki hain-----" and many other unforgettable ones . The subtle vibrations in his voice, which he uses very beautifully to convey an entire range of emotions, left the ground reverberating with thunderous claps and applause. His incomparable rendition of the ghazals through his pioneering style, coupled with his impeccable voice, carried the listeners to a height where sheer ecstasy reigned supreme. Pakistani singer’s voice modulations completely enthralled the audience. Musical instruments like harmonium, tabla, sarod, sitar, santoor complemented him, but it was his voice which ruled, and not the instruments. He presented a galore of nazm and thumris with equal elegance.
The program commenced with the felicitation of the legendary maestro by none other than the
former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Farooq Abdulla.
There was no stopping to the heightened spirits of the aficionados as they were simply mesmerized by his melodious voice. There were endless demands of ghazals from audience, to which the classical singer tried to do full justice. But even at the end the ardent fans were left asking for more.
