Amity International Business School felicitated the HR Leaders of various Corporates

Continuing the tradition, Amity International Business School, Noida organised its Third Global HR Summit at Sec- 44, Amity Campus with zeal and enthusiasm. The theme for the event was “People, Passion, and Performance & Peace: HR Challenges for Global Organizations”

The summit provided knowledge-sharing platform to HR stalwarts, with the objective of addressing key issues pertaining to the HR Industry, which is the pedestal for business strategy and operational performance.

The Chief Guest, Hon’ble. Jonathan Wutawunashe, Ambassador, Embassy of Zimbabwe, while delivering his speech emphasized on the spectacular progress India is making and stated that events like this help in accentuating the knowledge of the future managers by providing them face to face interaction with the persons, who are at the zenith of their profession. HR Department holds a prominent position in shaping up the destiny of any organization and Amity by providing extensive exposure to its management students through such summits is strengthening the backbone of the industrial sector said Mr. Jonathan.

Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation in his address stated that growth of every economy depends on industrial parameter and as future managers students should inculcate a desire to excel in the field and industry where they work in future with a feeling to serve the nation. Amity Business School has always been working to meet industry's need for professionally trained manpower. It churns out well equipped youth who can easily deal with the intricacies of the contemporary business scenario.

Mr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University welcomed the august gathering and extended his gratitude to the HR Fraternity for taking Indian economy to unmatched heights. He further pointed out how critical the role of Human Resource Development is in any organization. As an employer if you are able to hire right people with right skills in your company, things start moving in the right direction on their own. In a nutshell, he said that, “A company is as good as its HR Department makes it.”

H.E.Mustafa Ahmed Mohd. Noman, Ambassador of Yemen said that if the youth are trained in a near perfectionist manner like this then very soon India will be able to record a double digit GDP Growth Rate. Hiring good employees is not only important but essential to the business. Employees are the heart and soul of a business; they are the mechanism that makes a business run. He further stated that efficient Human Resource management, for getting the work done through people, is an essential part of every manager’s responsibility.

Major General K.J Singh, Vice Chancellor, Amity University greeting the guests citied, “The link between business strategy and human resource management (HRM) practices has received considerable attention from researchers. It is generally believed that integrating strategy and HRM will result in positive organizational outcomes.”

Dr. Gurinder Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University and Dy. Director General, Amity International Business School gave a programme outline and theme presentation in which he stated that in today’s corporate arena organizations must absorb, manage and integrate change at a much faster rate than in the past. In order to implement successful business strategy to face the challenges an organization must ensure that it has the right people who are capable of delivering the right strategy and ensuring perfection in order to meet the expectations of the fast paced and competent world.

The HR Excellence Awards were conferred upon v
