Independence Day Celebration at Amity University, Mumbai
The fraternity and the students of Amity University, Mumbai celebrated the Independence Day with patriotic fervour. Prof. D. S. Rao, the Vice Chancellor, hoisted the national flag.
Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. D.S. Rao addressed the gathering and talked about the sanctity of the occasion. He also encouraged the staff members and students to act according to their responsibilities and emphasized the role played by them in building and development of Amity as an educational institution.
The speech was followed by the National Anthem and with Cultural activities. The gathering was treated with some spectacular musical and dance performances by the students, giving a glimpse of the unity in diversity of the nation. These performances filled the staff, faculty members and the students with the feeling of patriotism and dedication.
The program ended with the message of making efforts in contributing to the development of the nation. At the end, sweets were distributed among all the staff, faculty members and the students.
