Workshop on revolutionizing the AUTOMATION by XLPAT Labs

Amity Institute of Biotechnology of Amity University Gurgaon organized a Faculty Development Program on “How to Save Time for Research and Analytics Using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Techniques” on Tuesday 27th June 2017 by Mr. Sandeep Singh Kohli (Co-Founder & Chief Technical Officer- XLPAT). Which is the World’s largest and most intelligent technology database based on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Watson, Search Intelligence and Natural Language Processing technologies to turn big data into actionable business intelligence.

Mr. Kohli shared his experience of idea generation of XLPAT when he joined a leading Intellectual Property Research and Analytics firm - TT Consultants after finishing his education and explored his interest of coding, artificial intelligence, natural language processing and machine learning, Therefore while gaining extensive experience in the IP industry he also significantly advanced his technological skill set. This led to the emergence of XLPAT, a novel and superior method for IP research and analytics. Today XLPAT is the World’s largest and most intelligent technology database that uses Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Watson, Search Intelligence and Natural Language Processing technologies to turn big data into actionable business intelligence. It boasts of patent and technology coverage of over 120 countries which allows users thorough & exhaustive patent searches.

Mr. Kohli also shared that there is a huge scope of improving the patentability of novel and innovative ideas stemming out of university research. Through his talk he explained considerable detail how XLPAT can be used by researchers and innovators to improve the quality of their ideas as well as chances of getting patents.

Mr. Sandeep Singh Kohli had an in-depth discussion with Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. P.B. Sharma on the scope of automated novelty and patentability check for Amity University. Vice Chancellor himself did a novelty check using XLPAT, on his own unique ideas, in the presence of Mr. Kohli. After acknowledging the ease and accuracy of this technology database, Vice Chancellor conveyed a keen interest in fostering future collaborations with XLPAT. He strongly recommended formulating a Memorandum of Understanding with XLPAT for facilitating patentable innovation at Amity University.

FDP covers wide range of Faculties from several different departments within Amity University Gurgaon as well as some from other universities attended this Faculty Development Program.
