International Student Day celebrated on 3rd March 2017

Office of International Affairs organized International Student Day celebration in the campus. At Present, University has more than 250 International students from over 25 countries.

The intent of celebrating International Day at AUH is to harmonize the feeling of togetherness among the students from different countries and to inculcate the sense of mutual respect for each other’s culture and tradition.

A cultural program that comprised of Traditional Dances from Nepal, Bhutan and Congo, Patriotic Songs, Band Show, Carol Singing, Mimicry Show and Ramp Show. International students at AUH performed folk dances highlighting Nepalese and Bhutanese culture. Students also sang patriotic songs and national songs along with the band.

Dr. Gunjan, Vice President- RBEF & Director- International Affairs addressed the students where she shared some motivational quotes and experiences touching upon India and its rich culture and history with the students. She also emphasized on the beauty of the role of the international students in adding diversity to the learning environment at Amity and thanked all the students from different nations for choosing Amity University as their first choice for their higher education.

The event concluded with a cake cutting ceremony where all the International Students and Team of International Affairs were present. The audience remained hooked to their seats as the performer’s beautifully and creatively bought the talent on the stage.
