Amity University Madhya Pradesh Organizes A Tech Festival “AAROH 2017” On 16th -17th 2017

 Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh organized the Tech festival “AAROH 2K17” on 16 and 17 February 2017 with a view to make a platform for the students to showcase their talent in different streams. The objectives of the Tech Fest were to bring together the students from diverse fields, to promote innovative ideas and to facilitate inter-disciplinary exchange of ideas and information. 

The Tech Fest was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Lt. Gen. V. K. Sharma, AVSM (Retd) and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) M. P. Kaushik. 

 

The events on the first day presented a judicious mix of knowledge, skills & fun : Rangoli, Paper Presentation, Poster Presentation, Bridge it, Need for speed (NFS), Treasure hunt, Crime run Model Making, Logo Designing, Photography, Collage Making, Management Games, Soap Carving, Technical Quiz, Photography collage, Selfie(pratibimb),Canvas Painting, Mini Malitia, Roadies, Dancing Star, Street Soccer, Fifa, Speel bee,8 Ball pool and Counter Strike etc.

 

The zeal and enthusiasm continued on second day also. The events that made the Amity Campus come alive with fun were: web designing, software development, CAD designing, Dumpster Software Designing, Web Designing, Counter Strike (War Zone), ss cooking Paper costume designing, fireless cooking, Mr. and Ms. Aaroh, Nukkad Natak, Singing etc.

 

Approximately eighteen hundred students registered for the techfest out of which 328 were from different colleges like G.R.M.C., Jiwaji University, M.I.T.S., IHM College, ITM University, Prestige college of Management, and schools like Greenwood, DPS, LAHS.

 

A Brief Report of the Aaroh Techfest was presented by Dr. Pankaj Kumar Mishra, Associate Professor (Applied Physics) and Convener of the Techfest.

 

At the end, cash prizes of Rs. One Lakh and appreciation certificates were distributed to the participants of the Tech Fest by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor and HoIs of AUMP. The Dean, Registrar, Director (Administration), Heads of Schools, faculty members, staff members and students were present on the occasion. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Dr. Manisha Jain, Associate Professor and Head, Applied Mathematics Department. and Convener of the Techfest, The programme was headed by Prof (Dr.) Anil Vashisht , Director of Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University Madhya Pradesh. The event concluded with a mirthful DJ Evening that allowed the coordinators and participants to relax and rejoice.
