International affairs students celebrated Christmas
Office of International affairs organized an excursion visit to Sacred Heart Cathedral Church -Connaught Place on 21st December 2016 as Christmas Celebration for university international students. One of the foremost principle and tradition at Amity is Mutual Respect and Understanding, respect for each other’s cultures, traditions, customs and believes has been fundamentally taught at Amity. International Students in Amity University Gurgaon comes from almost 27 different countries with different backgrounds and race, and developing a sense of togetherness is what we always inculcate in our students.
In an ongoing effort to enhance the experience of International students at the AUH Campus and to conduct pre- Christmas celebrations, the Office of International Affairs organized a screening of Animated Movie “The Big Hero Six” on December 14th 2016 for the International students.
On December 21st 2016, the International Students were taken for Local excursion to Sacred Heart Cathedral Church. During their visit to the church, students performed prayers, sang carols, came together and remembered their family and all the good things they are blessed with. Students also shared the various Christmas customs and traditions practiced at their home in their native countries. Students performed cake cutting ceromony for Christmas Wishes and shared their experiences.
