Guest Lecture on 'Use of Spectroscopy in determination of small molecules
Total of 38 students (M. Tech. Semester I and III, MSc. Semester I and III, B. Tech. Semester V, B. Tech. M. Tech. Dual Semester III) along with 7 AIB faculties attend the event. The talk was arranged in a view to cope up with students need to understand different methods of spectroscopy and its use. Dr. Chhajed, explained principle and working of UV-VIS, FTIR, MS and NMR all together. Students were benefited with information on the comparison of all these techniques. The talk started with basics in spectroscopy to advanced methods and its applications in various sectors.
Dr. Chhajed also highlighted upon opportunities for biotechnology students after their PG courses. He briefed about research in foreign countries and also guided students for fellowships viz. EU, Erasmus. Dr. Chhajed also assured interactive sessions with AIB for webinar/emails. Dr. Santosh Chhajed highlighted on "EU - European Union" fellowships programs like Erasma+ and other R&D options.
