AUMP CELEBRATES MELANGE 2016 TO WELCOME THE FRESHERS

Amity University Madhya Pradesh organized its Introduction Party ‘Melange 2016’ to welcome the fresh batch of Amitians on 2^nd September 2016. One of the most awaited events of the year, ‘Melange 2016’ aimed at giving a resounding welcome to the new batch, along with facilitating the bonding between the juniors and the seniors.

The evening was full of festivities, pulsating with the enthusiasm of the students. The event started with a performance of Ami Band. The showcase of extraordinary talents by students in different genres like Ramp-walk, singing and dancing left the crowd enchanted.  The crowd stood mesmerized over the rhythmic song tracks and melodious vocals by students of first year. A marvelous amalgamation of Indian and western form of dancing was staged that elevated the pace of the event. Adorned in their magnificent attires, the students looked stunning as they gracefully and confidently walked the ramp during the Fashion Show. The time honoured tradition of selection of Mr. and Ms. Fresher was continued where Nitesh Singh (BA LLB 1^st Sem) and Simran Bagga (B.Com 1^st Sem) were crowned as Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher of 2016 respectively, after meeting the parameters of grace, style and intelligence. The winners were felicitated, along with the other performers of the evening by Mrs. Promila Sharma & the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, AUMP, Lt Gen V K Sharma, AVSM (Retd. )
