Amity University Gurgaon organized guest lecture by Mr. Arun Goel Vice President Ericssion during orientation Programme on 27th July 2016. Mr. Arun Goel through his personal experiences of life highlighted the point that effective leaders know that leading from their comfort zone means that they are not learning, growing, developing or getting results. One should be ready to go beyond? It is this Art that Mr. Goel has perfected constantly reinventing himself over the past three decades of his professional life.
The main idea of interaction was to motivate the students to take studies and life seriously and set achievable goals in life.
Mr. Goel shared a wealth of life related and work related experiences & focused on the infinite learning opportunities he has had in life.
The lesson that one takes home from his lecture was that one should not become disheartened because if one door closes in one’s life simultaneously another door opens. One has to venture on that path without any inhibitions. This road might not have been taken by many but if one progresses on it undeterred, it might open up avenues and opportunities of which one did not even dream off.
Ultimately the road not taken by others becomes a boon for one who is determined, focused, laborious and has strong faith in his/her Ability & practices Self discipline.
