Blood Donation Camp 2016

Blood Donation Camp

You don’t have to be a doctor to save a life!'

It is said that India will have the youngest population in the near future aged between 18-35 years. This would give India the opportunity to lead the world. But we also want this new young generation to be healthy for which it is our prime responsibility today to ensure that we fulfill our duties in contributing towards health care.Just as an individual has the responsibility towards his nation, business organization and family, similarly one also has to fulfill his responsibility towards the society.

The idea was concieved during a leasure talk with the students of Amity School of Fine Arts to celebrate Independence Day meaningfully, when we conveyed this to our Nursing Officer she readily agreed and did further procedures and esablishing contact with the medical team at MGM Hospital Kamothe (This is a charitable hospital).

The first ever Blood Donation camp Organised by Amity School of Fine Arts at AUM turned out to be a huge success and and total number of 96 people donated blood including students, faculty and staff. There were many who were eager to donate.
